Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. All staff and volunteers who come into contact with our children have a role to play. At all times, the best interest of the child must come first.
If you have any concerns regarding a child, please speak to the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately. Our designated safeguarding lead is Mrs Rebecca Gray – Interim Head Teacher. If he is unavailable, please speak to Andrea Branigan who is our Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead. The governor responsible for safeguarding is Penelope Morse, our Chair of Governors.
Our Safeguarding Policy reflects current legislation, accepted best practice and complies with the government guidance: Working Together to Safeguard Children March 2018 and Keeping Children Safe in Education April 2018.For more information, please contact our designated safeguarding lead.
